We describe our 3-dimensional numerical relativity code for the evolution of inhomogeneous cosmologies. During the evolution the constraint equations are monitored but not solved. The code has been tested against perturbation theory with good results. We present some runs of inhomogeneous inflation with strongly inhomogeneous initial data. * [email protected]
متن کاملPhase Transitions during Inflation and Chemically Inhomogeneous Universe
Several models of baryo(lepto)genesis that give rise to large inhomogeneities in the composition of the universe are presented. In particular, a variation of primordial abundances of light elements by the factor 2-5 at large distances is predicted. A cosmological model of baryonic island is considered. Creation of domains with very large baryon and antibaryon number is described. Such domains m...
متن کاملNumerical modeling of inhomogeneous DNA replication kinetics
We present a calculation technique for modeling inhomogeneous DNA replication kinetics, where replication factors such as initiation rates or fork speeds can change with both position and time. We can use our model to simulate data sets obtained by molecular combing, a widely used experimental technique for probing replication. We can also infer information about the replication program by fitt...
متن کاملViable Inhomogeneous Model Universe without Dark Energy from Primordial Inflation
A new model of the observed universe, using solutions to the full Einstein equations, is developed from the hypothesis that our observable universe is an underdense bubble, with an internally inhomogeneous fractal bubble distribution of bound matter systems, in a spatially flat bulk universe. It is argued on the basis of primordial inflation and resulting structure formation, that the clocks of...
متن کاملRadiative Transfer in Inhomogeneous Atmospheres - Numerical Results
The FN method is used to establish accurate numerical results for the albedo and the exit distribution of radiation relevant to an illuminated semi-infinite half space with an exponentially varying albedo for single scattering.
